Join us this week, January 23rd, for our January monthly meeting. This month, we will elect our officers for the 2025-2027 term and add new board positions to support our growing club. Now is an exciting time to get involved!

Where: Dilworth Grille (911 E Morehead St Charlotte, NC)
All board positions will be up for election for a two-year term beginning at the conclusion of the meeting and ending January 2027. If you are interested in running for the board, please email [email protected] to learn more. .
For candidates interested in running here are the rules we will use for candidate speeches, nominations, etc
1. Any candidate for any office must be nominated. Candidates can either nominate themselves or have someone else nominate them.
2. A candidate may turn down a nomination
3. Only those present may nominate. Candidates do not have to be present.
4. If there is a seat with one nominee, that person wins by acclamation and there will be no need for debate/ speech
5. If there is a contested race, the order of candidate speeches will be determined by a coin flip, the winner deciding the order in which he or she will go.
6. Candidates in contested races will be permitted to give speeches not to exceed five minutes.
7. If, at any point before voting, one candidate in a contested race decides to drop out, the remaining candidate will win the race by acclamation and there will be no further debate, speeches or votes.
8. Candidates in contested races will also have the opportunity to field questions from the audience during a Q/A session following the candidate speeches.
