Friends,

Today on Memorial Day, I’m thinking of all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our great nation. As the daughter of a World War II veteran and prisoner of war, I grew up with stories about the fear my family faced waiting to hear if my father, Malcolm McLane, would ever come home.

While they were blessed with his eventual return, many families are not as fortunate. This weekend, it’s important that we honor and remember all those who laid down their lives in service to our country, as well as those who have lost their loved ones.
