In the early hours of the morning, a ceasefire has officially begun in Gaza. While Palestinians celebrate the first respite in over 15 months of genocide, Israeli politicians, media, and extremist settler groups are threatening to attack again.

Since the ceasefire with Lebanon took effect, Israel has bombed and raided Lebanon every day with US weapons and political backing. Our movement must rise to the occasion and demand that the United States and Israel uphold the ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, lift the siege on Gaza, and allow the reconstruction to begin.

The message is clear: a ceasefire is just the beginning. We must continue to stand firmly in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the struggle for total liberation.

Tomorrow, Monday January 20, join people in 80+ cities across the country <[link removed]> in the streets to stand with the Palestinian people and with every community threatened by Trump’s incoming administration that is of, by and for the billionaires. While Trump’s administration has promised to carry out mass deportations, destroy public services, and shred the civil rights won over generations of struggle, we will stand together stronger than ever before.
