Folks, you’ve heard me talk about Sunday Scaries before, but this may just be the scariest Sunday of all time.

Tomorrow is Inauguration Day, and for many of us, that indicates the beginning of four years marked by uncertainty, and perhaps a little anxiety.

But the truth is, the next four years are what we make of it. Despite the dangerous policies that Trump and his Republican allies spout, I’m still a member of Congress, and you better believe I’m going to continue fighting tooth and nail for Michiganders.

Democrats still have a voice in our government, and I’m going to use mine to continue pushing for the agenda I’ve always fought for. It won’t be easy, and we have a lot of work to do leading up to 2026 — especially here in Michigan where Trump won.

But our teamwork and perseverance have helped us win before, and they’re the key ingredients to winning again. That’s why I have to ask: Will you chip in $25 to help us prepare to take action once Trump is inaugurated tomorrow?

The silver lining? This is the beginning of the end of Trump’s reign. We’ll get through it together.
