Dear friend,

Tomorrow, we celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today, I hope you’ll join me in recommitting to the fight for change and progress he dedicated his life to.

One of my favorite speeches Dr. King gave was to a group of high school students in Philadelphia. In his speech, the Reverend asked the students to think about their life’s blueprint, and he said:

“Number one in your life’s blueprint should be a deep belief in your own dignity, your worth, and your own somebodiness. Always feel that you count. Always feel that you have worth, and always feel that your life has ultimate significance.”

As we see in Dr. King’s fight for equality, he truly lived every day believing not just in his own dignity, but in the dignity of his fellow Americans – regardless of race, class, or gender. He believed in a future for our children where their worth would be recognized, their rights protected, and their freedom secured.

It is now up to us to continue the fight for a more just nation. And I’m honored to have you by my side in that fight.

Appreciate you,

Greg
