Tomorrow is Inauguration Day. We hope for the best for our country, but we aren’t optimistic.

We know that Trump and his MAGA loyalists promised to push dangerous policies at all levels of government — including here in Iowa. Immediately, we need to be prepared to take action and inform Iowans about what’s going on in our government to protect them from the worst of the GOP agenda.

Longer term, we are already beginning to organize for Democratic victories in 2026 and beyond. Our first county party leadership call this month had over 140 Iowa Democrats from all across the state join!

But we need resources to execute our plans, which leaves us with two options moving forward:

1. 500 dedicated supporters step up and chip in $25 today.
OR
2. 50 people commit to start a monthly recurring gift. Recurring gifts make it easier for us to plan budgets, hire staff, and plan our organizing efforts in advance.
