TELL THE U.S. SENATE: As Musk and the GOP push for massive funding cuts to
Medicare and Medicaid, Trump wants to put Dr. Oz in charge of public
health coverage. Oz would be a disaster, because he’s a champion for
outright privatizing Medicare. Sign the petition: Reject Dr. Oz!

Hi,

If Dr. Oz leads the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), he’ll
push for full privatization of Medicare. This would destroy public health
coverage for seniors and enrich executives and investors in big health
corporations. And it just so happens that Oz has significant investments
in CVS and UnitedHealth.^1

Oz’s “Medicare Advantage for All” scam is a devastating privatization plan
that would do irreversible damage to America’s social safety net.^2 The
Senate must reject Oz.

lead Medicare and Medicaid.

Dr. Oz’s time as a TV doctor included marketing partnerships with Big
Pharma company Novo Nordisk. As head of CMS, he’d be in charge of making
decisions that could be very lucrative for pharmaceutical companies.^3 And
Oz’s investments in CVS and UnitedHealth could get a major boost if his
“Medicare Advantage for All” plan succeeds.

“Having ongoing financial ties to a health-care company would create a
disincentive to do the job the American people need done by the person in
his position,” said a former government ethics official in The Washington
Post.^4

In order to protect Medicare and Medicaid from corporate interests, the
Senate must stop Trump and Dr. Oz.
