Dear Friend --

This year, as we recognize Memorial Day and all those who gave their lives in service to our great nation, I want to also thank the families and friends who have stepped up and supported those left behind.

America is a strong country because of the incredible men and women who serve in the United States military out of a commitment and love of country. We have the greatest military in the world thanks to young patriots from across our nation—all prepared to sacrifice themselves in service to our values and freedoms.

This weekend was different than most Memorial Day weekends. We had to remember and celebrate in different ways that separated us more than usual. Today, take a moment to reflect on those who gave their lives in service. We owe them and their families a great deal of gratitude—and for their sacrifice, we are grateful.
