Because it seems like our government is more divided now than ever before, many people believe that nothing will get done for Kansas in the next two years. But that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Working with members of both parties, Sharice Davids has passed bipartisan legislation to expand broadband access in rural communities, enact the most significant law tackling gun violence in a generation, and fund over 300 critical infrastructure projects across Kansas — and that work will continue in the new Congress.

But despite Sharice’s long record of finding common ground, some pundits still don’t believe that Congress will get anything done for working families across Kansas.

Well, those pundits also didn’t believe that Sharice could get elected to Congress here in Kansas as an LGBTQ Native American woman who was raised by a single mom.
