As New York’s first mom Governor, I know firsthand the challenges and rewards of being a parent and wanting the absolute best for your children.

When I had my kids, I was a working mom, and I had to make tough choices and compromises to take care of my kids and maintain my career.

Now, I’m making sure New York parents have all the tools at their disposal to safely bring their children into this world and take care of them.

My administration pledged to invest a record-breaking $7 billion in child care because I know working families need all the support they can get. These new proposals will make a real difference in making child care more affordable and accessible for all New Yorkers.
