We can’t make this up, friend — House Republicans are seriously thinking about using our military to acquire Greenland and the Panama Canal.
Just when you think the MAGA movement has reached the limit of its recklessness, the incoming administration is going all in on a plan to force foreign nations into possibly handing over territory. They’re not just waging war on our rights, but other countries as well.
It’s not just the President-elect feeding into these delusions. Just last week, House Republicans introduced a bill to enable the President to push forward his dangerous idea to acquire the Panama Canal, with or without Panama’s support.
House Republicans are making it official that they’re more than happy to stand by and let the President-elect run rampant with dangerous plans. The United States is not a monarchy — there are rules, processes, and procedures that a power-hungry Republican majority can’t just bypass.
There’s a fundamental difference here — while House Republicans focus on invading Greenland and renaming bodies of water, Yvette and House Democrats are focused on lowering costs and safeguarding our freedoms.
