As a Make-A-Wish^® supporter, you know the power a wish can have for a child like Joselin, who’s fighting a critical illness. But do you know how important monthly donors really are? Recurring donations mean we can plan each and every wish request in advance — and that means granting even more wishes. That’s why we’re reaching out to you.

We count on our monthly donors to help kids like Joselin, who was born with a gastrointestinal disorder. One of her dad’s first memories of her was seeing his baby girl attached to an I.V. tube. Despite it all, Joselin managed to give mom and dad huge smiles with dimples that helped them through the toughest times.

We’ve launched our 2025 Monthly Donor Drive — we need 100 new sustaining Monthly Donors to join us before January 23. When you join us as a Monthly Donor, your first gift will be DOUBLED, thanks to a generous group of supporters. Plus, to thank you for your support your name will appear on our new Wishing Wall.

Today, Joselin is a bright-eyed 6-year-old with boundless energy. She has a permanent chest port and receives 10-hour treatments nightly to get the nutrients she needs, but that doesn’t stop her from attending gymnastics classes every week. She especially loves swinging around on the rings and bars and running during her floor routines.

It was no surprise when Joselin wished to be a gymnast.

So the Make-A-Wish team went to work, calling on the community to help grant Joselin’s wish.

Joselin was invited to take part in an actual practice with a renowned gymnastics team, warmed up alongside them, and ran through handstands, rope climbs, the beam — Joselin even got to tumble into a foam pit with the team!

Joselin’s parents watched their daughter take on every new challenge with her typical fierce energy. The practice ended with a special awards ceremony where Joselin recieved a gold medal and a cereal box with her face on it. She received perfect 10s for the joy she brought to the whole community.
