I’m Sarah Riggs Amico, and I’m running to take on David Perdue and flip his Senate seat from red to blue.

I was honored to be Stacey Abrams’s running mate when I ran for Lieutenant Governor, and I’m proud to be back in the fight, trying to take back the Senate majority and stand up for working families in our state and across the country.

It’s never been more clear that we need elected leaders we can count on to fight for Georgia’s interests, not special interests. Leaders who are accountable to the people they serve, not partisan political organizations or party leaders. Leaders who are in it for the good of the country, not to exploit the power that comes with elected office.

I swear that I’ll be that kind of senator -- together, we can go up against David Perdue in November and fight for Georgia’s working families. That’s why I’m the only Democrat in the race with the endorsement of organized labor.

Starting in 2008, I grew a business from 100 employees to over 3,000 employees -- in the depths of the Great Recession. I have the firsthand experience we’ll need to see Georgia through the tough economic recovery ahead.

I’m a working mom with kids in public school -- now learning remotely from home. I’m a woman of faith. But most importantly, I’m committed to doing the job of serving you in the U.S. Senate.

Together, we can retire David Perdue, ditch Mitch McConnell as Senate Majority Leader, and turn Georgia blue.
