The last time Congress expanded the Child Tax Credit (CTC), it slashed child poverty in half . With a new administration taking office, now’s the time to act FAST and put the CTC back on lawmakers’ agenda. [[link removed]]

Hi John,
1 in 7 kids across the U.S. are growing up in poverty. Every day, millions wake up without a safe place to call home, nutritious meals or the education they deserve.
These are the families who rely on the Child Tax Credit (CTC) to make ends meet.
I’ve heard heart-wrenching stories from parents stretched beyond their breaking point – mothers forced to choose between groceries, school supplies and keeping the lights on.
When the CTC expansion ended in 2022, families who fought so hard to escape poverty found themselves slipping back in. Just as they’d secured a life-changing safety net, it was ripped away.
No child should ever go without the essentials. Will you urge Congress to expand the CTC again so families can build back stronger? [[link removed]]
Take Action! [[link removed]]
In 2021, strengthening the CTC provided life-changing relief, reducing child poverty by a staggering 50%.
But since the expansion expired, poverty rates have nearly DOUBLED.
The incredible progress we made has been all but erased – especially in rural America, where kids face greater risks of hunger, homelessness and learning loss.
It’s unacceptable, John. Please, tell Congress: Child poverty is a policy choice. Support our nation’s families with a stronger CTC! [[link removed]]
Thanks for being a voice for kids,
