Phelan-ally Dustin Burrows is now the Speaker, with the help of Democrats and a minority of Republicans. Nearly all the Republicans voted for David Cook. This was a bold and public betrayal of their Republican voters, and they will pay for it when the primaries begin this November. To make matters worse, the Burrows-Phelan team has already proven that they don't plan to get to work. As of yesterday, the Senate announced committee assignments and got to work. The House, however, immediately postponed even deciding on its rules for an entire week. The primary cycle is starting early. For some of these disloyal Republicans, challengers have already announced, with more on the way. Paxton Beats Cornyn? Speaking of the primaries: a poll recently gauged how Ken Paxton would fare in a 2026 primary against John Cornyn for the Senate. In that poll, Paxton beat Cornyn by 8 points (42% - 34%). This poll comes as Paxton is being floated by activists as a potential challenger for Cornyn. Time will tell, as primary filing begins this November! You can find the poll HERE. Trump Inauguration Monday All the work you did in the November election will finally be realized on Monday when Donald Trump takes office. Hearings on Trump's nominees have already begun and will continue. Trump's team has prepared countless executive orders that will go into effect on Day 1. The beginning of America's golden age will be at noon this Monday. Our enemies are aware. One of the largest drone manufacturers - DJI - is a Chinese company. Just this week, leading right up to the inauguration, DJI happened to turn off geofencing on their American drones, allowing them to travel into no-go zones. This is not a mistake. Our enemies know that our new golden age is beginning. But Donald Trump and his incredible team won't be stopped.
