Each Memorial Day, we take time to honor those who gave what Abraham Lincoln called their last full measure of devotion to our great country.
The men and women who have lost their lives in service to our nation embody the best of America.
Today, my thoughts are with them, and with their Gold Star families, friends, and loved ones. This is especially true this year, as we face the loss of so many veterans to COVID-19.
Thank you to all who have given everything for our country.
Your unwavering dedication to our democracy is an inspiration for generations to come.
