Dear Friends,

For all of us, this Memorial Day has been one of reflection.

Every year, we show appreciation for the brave service members who gave their lives to protect our country. Though we cannot come together in the way we usually do, our circumstances do not change our deep gratitude.

Sacrifice for our country comes in so many forms. On the 75th anniversary of D-Day, I had the honor of visiting the Normandy American Cemetery to pay my respects. I felt the great debt our country owes its fallen soldiers and their families. This year, we also remember the frontline workers who have lost their lives battling the pandemic. I know I’ll be thinking about them today as well.
