Jack,
Today we honor all of the brave people who fought and died for our country.
I'm incredibly thankful for the many in my family who have served. My grandpa served in the Army, then the US Army Reserve, and retired as a Master Sergeant. He taught me about the importance of service and sacrifice.
We must fulfill our obligation to take care of our brave men and women who have served their nation. I’m committed to representing our veterans in Congress. We need to ensure they have access to the resources they depend on once they get home -- like healthcare, support, benefits, and job opportunities.
While this day usually marks the beginning of summer, it seems as though our uncertain world has changed that this year.
I encourage all of you to enjoy the warmer weather while keeping yourself safe by following the CDC guidelines and continued social distancing.
Thank you,
Tricia Zunker
