The MTA is spiraling into chaos, and Democrats in Albany are ignoring the root causes.

While the agency bleeds hundreds of millions of dollars every year due to fare evasion, and countless New Yorkers avoid the subways out of fear of crime, Governor Hochul and the Democrats refuse to act. Instead, they’ve chosen the easy way out: taxing you to cover their failures.

The payroll mobility tax, congestion pricing, and endless fees are nothing more than band-aids for a broken system. Rather than tackling fare evasion head-on, ensuring subway safety, and cutting waste, they’re forcing hardworking New Yorkers to pay for their inaction.

We all know what’s needed: accountability and leadership. The MTA’s mismanagement has gone unchecked for far too long, and it’s clear that the Democrats in charge lack the will to fix it. Instead, they’re asking small businesses, commuters, and families to bear the burden of their incompetence.
