John, Unbelievable! After the revelatory primary, in which Texans voted to get rid of numerous worthless RINOs, House Republicans are still digging in their heels and defying the will of the people and the Texas GOP. On January 14, 2025, the newly sworn-in Texas House elected Dustin Burrows as Speaker of the Texas House. What makes this so reprehensible is that Burrows could not have won without Democrat support. What does that tell you? He won with 85 votes, 36 of which were Republicans and 49 were Democrats. However, the majority of Republicans voted for David Cook in the Republican Caucus meeting back in December and on the opening day of session this past Tuesday. So, I say, “You wanna get nuts? Let’s get nuts.” Every representative who voted with the Democrats and ignored the mandate from grassroots Texans should go down. I hope they enjoy this term because it will be the last for many of them. We don’t have to wait until the primary to apply pressure. Counties all over Texas passed resolutions calling for the censure of any elected Republican who goes against the will of the party. Rule 44 requires county or party chairs to reject primary applications of anyone who has been censured. They are just daring us to follow through. Dare accepted! With Burrows in office, solid conservative legislation will be difficult to pass. Democrats will be awarded chairmanships, and we will be stuck spinning our wheels at times. He has already shown his true colors by appointing a Democrat as his Senior Advisor! Here are the elected traitors.
