The LA fires are heartbreaking- and inexcusable.

Fellow Conservative,
At least 24 lives have already been lost. More than 12,000 homes and businesses have been destroyed (and counting) as this wildfire hell on earth in Los Angeles rages on.
This disaster is heartbreaking and horrific- we can’t go on like this. The failed far-left leadership we’ve seen on display is beyond inexcusable.
Of course, it is clear that there were multiple decisions made by Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass, along with others in state and local government, that have made this disaster much worse. But the most serious issue is the total lack of accountability that comes when the Left gains total control of the state and media- that is the cause of the stunning destruction we’re seeing in LA…
When we let the far left pursue deleterious ideological goals and abandon even the pretense of public service, we risk the destruction of our society. It must stop.
People are angry and for good reason. Over and over again, they were warned that these decisions would have a devastating impact on the ability to fight and mitigate wildfires. We broke it all down in a recent episode of Verdict: |
-
Decades of mismanagement of California’s public forest lands have created a tinderbox of vegetation. Their policies have made forest fires bigger, allowed them to spread more quickly, and have made them harder to stop.
-
The water policy pushed by Gavin Newsom has led to the state dumping massive quantities of fresh water into the ocean – all to protect an essentially worthless fish. Now we’re seeing the impact in the shortage of water available to fight these fires.
-
And between the $17.4 million cut to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s budget pushed for by Mayor Karen Bass and a woke recruitment policy that amounts to open discrimination based on race and sex, the department was left ill-equipped to respond to this wildfire outbreak.
|
When elected officials put their own radical policies ahead of doing their job, there are consequences. In this case, they have been catastrophic for California.
We must demand accountability and a return to sane government.
Please HELP ME and the Republican Senate SAVE AMERICA before it is too late >>
I am praying every day for those impacted by this disaster, and I’m grateful for your support as we work to expose failed Democrat leadership and demand better. For Liberty,
