It sadly comes as no surprise that Lauren Boebert would prioritize party loyalty and politics over what’s best for our country’s national security.
She has become a vocal supporter of Trump’s nominee for Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth.
Prior to his nomination, Pete Hegseth was a long-time Fox News commentator. He’s been accusations of sexual assault and alcohol abuse on the job. He expresses beliefs that women shouldn’t play a significant role in our military because it "makes fighting more complicated."
Well, for someone who’s cheated on two of his previous wives, maybe that makes it more complicated for him.
Importantly, Hegseth is unqualified for such an important position. He’s struggled to answer basic questions regarding geopolitics and national security that would be common knowledge among any political science college student.
That is the guy Lauren Boebert, and too many Republicans support to lead the world’s most powerful military.
