Johh, have you been keeping up with what's going on in Washington? I have one word: yikes.

I’ve seen a lot in my time in Congress, but these confirmation hearings for Trump’s Cabinet are next-level bad. We have a defense secretary nominee who can’t handle basic questions about U.S. alliances, environmental picks who seem determined to ignore climate change, and an attorney general nominee whose election denial is on full display.

If that weren’t enough, Trump’s allies in Congress are introducing bills to help him pull stunts like… buying Greenland. Yes, that’s a thing.

The common thread in all of this? None of it helps the American people. Not one bit.

Instead, we’re watching Trump and his allies prioritize their extreme agenda, sow division, and roll back hard-won progress — on everything from women’s rights to climate change. And the worst part? This is just the beginning of what they want to do.
