Happy Memorial Day to you and your family! Memorial Day was a day created to pay our respects to the fallen men and women of the United States Armed Forces.

While today’s Memorial Day celebrations will not look the same as they have in years past, it’s still important that we pay our respect.

I hope you will join me in taking time today to honor the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our nation. Today is a day where we can celebrate the brave men and women who gave their lives to serve America. I will also be keeping the frontline and essential workers who have been lost during this crisis at the front of my mind.

Any American who protects other Americans is a hero.

In taking time to be grateful for our armed forces and our frontline workers, I am also thinking about you and your families.
