Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick Named Ranking Member of House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Middle East and North Africa

Dear Mr. John xxxxxx,

I’m deeply honored to have been chosen by my colleagues to serve as the Ranking Member of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Subcommittee for the House Foreign Affairs Committee. As the Top Democrat on the subcommittee, I will work across the aisle to ensure that America continues to stand with Israel on a bipartisan basis, holds Iran and their terrorist agents accountable, and prevents threats overseas. In addition to my new role, I will be returning to the Africa subcommittee for House Foreign Affairs.

I am also excited to return to serve on the House Veteran Affairs Committee as a member of the Health and Technology Modernization subcommittees! This role means I can ensure our veterans in District 20 and nationwide can thrive.

I will continue fighting for and delivering affordable healthcare and housing costs to those who served our country.
