About the job
As a Project Manager for the Legislative Campus Modernization Project (LCM) within the DES Facility Professional Services (FPS) division, you will have the rare chance to deliver significant building projects on the state’s historic capitol campus. Among some of the many exciting opportunities this team offers, you will be involved with:
- Washington State legislative process and capitol budgeting
- Campus design and construction
- Historic building preservation and renovation
- Olmsted design
You will collaborate with the LCM Project Director, FPS leadership, client agencies, and internal teams to develop project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and reviewing architectural and engineering designs, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines, and implementing cost and risk control measures. With a broad knowledge of architecture, engineering, and construction management, you will produce and oversee multidisciplinary plans, studies, and reports to deliver high-quality facility upgrades and improvements.
