Dear John,

Two Harvard students, Ibrahim I. Bharmal and Elom Tettey-Tamaklo, are facing unfounded criminal charges for their roles as safety marshal and organizer during a peaceful pro-Palestine protest. These charges are not only baseless but also represent a disturbing attempt to silence dissent and criminalize advocacy for human rights.

We need your voice today to demand justice. Sign our petition calling for the immediate dismissal of these charges. 👉 Sign the Petition Now ([link removed])

At MPAC, we are standing with Ibrahim and Elom, amplifying their story, and challenging this attack on their rights. These young leaders acted to protect the safety of all participants at the protest, yet they have been wrongfully targeted by a system that too often discriminates against Muslim and African-American advocates. Their actions were lawful and peaceful—and they deserve our full support.

We are working alongside other civil rights organizations and our community to shine a light on this injustice through:
* Coordinating this petition to show the groundswell of public support for Ibrahim and Elom
* Engaging directly with legal and public officials to push for the dismissal of these charges
* Advocating for the rights of students across the country who are being targeted for standing up for justice

Your support is critical to this effort. Here’s how you can help:
1. Sign the petition ([link removed]) now to add your voice to the call for justice.
2. Share the petition with your friends, family, and networks.
3. Stay informed and support our continued advocacy work on this and related issues.

TAKE ACTION: SIGN NOW ([link removed])

Let’s stand united in protecting Ibrahim, Elom, and all students who advocate for human dignity and freedom. Together, we can send a powerful message: we will not allow peaceful voices to be silenced.

In service,

Muslim Public Affairs Council
