2024 proved to be a difficult cycle for Democratic candidates across the country. MI-03 was an exception, as voters once again supported a pro-choice Democrat to lead on West Michigan’s most pressing challenges.

Our district continues to be a bright spot in our ability to hold Democratic seats and make progress on the issues that matter most. But this won’t stop national Republicans from going after this seat. Hillary already has TWO Republican opponents for the 2026 midterms, and they know that with enough time and momentum, they can win.
