It’s time to end scam credit repair.
Last week, Sarah introduced her first bill in Congress — less than a week from getting the keys to her office (talk about hitting the ground running)!
Her bipartisan bill, the Ending Scam Credit Repair Act (ESCRA), will crack down on scammers in the so-called “credit repair” industry.
Now, Sarah needs your help in building support. Will you add your name as a grassroots co-sponsor of the Ending Scam Credit Repair Act?
Here’s the problem:
For too long, the credit repair industry has been scamming Delawareans and folks across the county with low credit scores by promising easy credit fixes.
They exploit legal loopholes to target cash-trapped people, charging large upfront fees based on false hopes of debt reduction.
Here’s the solution:
Sarah’s legislation will ban upfront fees, improve transparency, and enhance consumer protections — eliminating the loopholes that have allowed these predatory practices to flourish.
ESCRA will protect consumers by ending scam credit repair, but Sarah can’t pass this legislation alone.
Can you sign on as a grassroots co-sponsor to say you support this critical consumer protection bill?
