Friends,

Every Memorial Day, we are reminded of the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country and put their lives on the line for our freedoms.

While this day looks quite different from other years - without parades or ceremonies to honor our heroes - we must still take a moment to honor all they've given us. In these especially difficult times, it is in the memory of our fallen soldiers that we must come together as one resilient country.

I firmly believe that when our servicemembers answer the call of duty, we must meet our end of the bargain. As a member of the Armed Services Committee, I promise to keep advocating for our soldiers while they're abroad, and when they come home.

Today we are mindful of the soldiers who gave everything to protect our freedoms, and we must never stop honoring their sacrifices.

It's our duty to keep caring and fighting for them and their families.

Forever grateful,
Lori
