Apotheosis.  It’s a great but seldom-used word meaning the absolute peak, the pinnacle. The word comes to mind when observing California, which has seemingly reached the apotheosis of liberal insanity.   For many years, the state and its Democratic leaders have been reading chapters and verses from the sacred book of progressivism.  The first and most important commandment is that skin color, gender, and sexual preference are far more important than competence and character.
