JANUARY 2025

It’s 2025, and with a new year comes new opportunities to drive meaningful change alongside our incredible partners. This month, we’re spotlighting the latest research from the Ad Council Research Institute and Rewiring America to understand the public’s knowledge and attitudes toward electrification. Next, a generous grant from the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation is fueling a new chapter in our mental health work, and our longtime partnership with FEMA continues to empower families to prepare for emergencies. As the devastating California fires continue, it’s a reminder of how we can all help. Consider donating money rather than goods to The California Wildfire Relief Fund, now live through our longstanding partnership with GlobalGiving.

Addressing Mental Health in Georgia with Support from the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation

From locker rooms to living rooms, mental health touches nearly every person in America, with one in five adults confronted with mental health challenges each year. Thanks to a generous grant from the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, we partnered with the Atlanta Falcons and the University of Georgia to launch the latest chapter in our series “The Rituals We Share.” Developed pro bono by Walton Isaacson, this new work features coaches and athletes sharing how they care for their minds on and off the field. New Research Illuminates the Path to Electrification

With 42% of U.S. energy-related emissions coming from homes and vehicles, electrification offers a critical opportunity to reduce climate impact and build a sustainable future. In partnership with Rewiring America, the Ad Council Research Institute released new research to help marketers understand what drives and prevents homeowners from making the switch to electric. The findings reveal that while many are open to electrification, cost, performance and education are key barriers to adoption. Paired with a messaging toolkit, this research equips both marketers and the public with actionable insights to inspire confidence and make electrification more accessible. A Life-Saving Message for Young Adults

Increasing awareness about naloxone is critical to equipping young adults to save lives during an opioid overdose. In partnership with the Office of National Drug Control Policy, we’re proud to launch new life-saving creative developed by creative agency StrawberryFrog. The work underscores the vital role young people can play in reversing overdoses by carrying and knowing how to use naloxone, preparing them to step in when it matters most—because “when no one else knows what to do, it’s gotta be you.” Check out the powerful creative
