Hey there, John,
This week I outlined my vision and priorities in my annual State of the State speech. My focus is clear and unwavering — it’s all about making real strides on issues that matter most to Oregonians.
You know me, I don’t shy away from our biggest challenges. I’m always in for the long haul to drive results for our whole state. These issues don’t have quick fixes. They need dedication, strategy, and stubborn focus.
As we look ahead, I’m laser-focused on getting closer to an Oregon where:
🏡No one has to live in a tent on a sidewalk. This means addressing the housing and homelessness crises head-on and tackling these challenges with everything we’ve got.
🧑⚕️Everyone can find and afford the health care they need. We must ramp up our mental health and substance abuse treatment capacity, ensuring trained professionals are ready and available to address behavioral health needs.
📚 Every child has a safe place to receive a high-quality public education. We need to build on our work in education and make sure every kid in Oregon has what they need to shine.
🏛️ We stand up for our values. Protecting reproductive rights, the environment, immigrants, and civil rights is simply non-negotiable.
That’s the roadmap — and we need focused effort and teamwork to get this done. I'm so proud to have you in this fight with me. Can I count on you to lend your support for this vision? Add your name today!
We’re looking forward to receiving your responses.
Thanks for taking the time!
