Huge Turnout and packed house at our January General Body Meeting and Mixer!

Thank you to everyone who showed up on a cold Tuesday at 390 Social! It was a packed house with over 50 young dems and tremendous surge in new members! 

Young democrats in Brooklyn are fired up and ready to get involved! The work that BYD is doing us gaining national attention as NBC news joined us to cover our meeting and interviewed our members!

We had an excellent meeting where we discussed upcoming New York City elections, from the Mayoral race down to the city council. We are turning our anxiety around the inauguration next week into action at the local level. We will never back down from a fight when our communities are threatened but we will also demand better and more from our elected Democratic leaders in New York City and New York State. We must deliver real results for working people and our endorsements are a way we will do just that. 

We also held a petitioning tutorial as the season approaches so everyone knows the do's and dont's of petitioning! Then we had a fun social mixer!
