It’s hard to believe (at least for me!), but just two years ago, I was sworn in as Maryland’s 34th Comptroller!

Since that day, I have never wavered in my commitment to work in partnership to create a state that is more equitable, more resilient, and more prosperous so that every Marylander can reach their full potential.

We’ve filled our positions, created a new, more effective organizational structure, built partnerships across the state, and we’re creating new, more user-friendly systems in all parts of the agency while championing climate resilience measures, our minority-business enterprises, and publishing important policy research papers.

I’m so proud of the progress we’ve made over the last two years, but I also know we have a lot more to do! I look forward to accomplishing even more this year and sharing additional updates with you.
