Meeting with President Trump

I want to thank President Trump for inviting me to join him and other Republican House leaders this weekend to discuss his America First agenda. I was honored to be part of this important discussion as we work alongside him to Make America Great Again.
 

Supporting the Laken Riley Act

Last week the Laken Riley Act passed the House. The bill was named after Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student in Georgia, who was killed by an illegal immigrant who had previously been released from custody on theft charges. You can learn more here:

Protecting Women’s Sports

This week House Republicans passed the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, which defines gender based on biology and genetics. Women deserve to have the ability to participate against biological females in sports and gender should not be manipulated for left-leaning political ideology. Securing Our Border

I am honored to be an original co-sponsor of the Remain in Mexico Act. This is an important piece of legislation that begins to fulfill the promise Republicans made to America to secure our border. As a member of the Committee on Homeland Security, my number one priority is to ensure that Congress works alongside President Trump to secure our border and continue to make our country a great place to live, worship, and raise a family.
