Pam Bondi, Trump's nominee for attorney general, clashed with Democrat Sen. Mazie Hirono during today’s confirmation hearings over previous statements Trump has made.

“Trump has said that ‘illegal immigration is poising the blood of our nation’… do you agree with that statement?” Hirono asked Bondi.

Bondi began recounting the “horrific conditions she saw when she visited the border, adding a personal jab towards Hirono.

“I’m sure you’ve been to the border as well, so you know that,” Bondi said sarcastically.

Hirono also pressed Bondi on what she would do if Trump asked her to investigate his political adversaries, to which Bondi responded by highlighting Hirono's refusal to meet with her before the hearing to discuss the matter.

"You were the only [senator] who refused to meet with me. We would've discussed this," Bondi stated.

Bondi emphasized her commitment to restoring integrity to the Justice Department, promising, "If I am confirmed as attorney general, it will be my job to not only keep America safe but restore integrity to that department."

Pam Bondi REFUSES to take CRAP from Adam Schiff, humiliates him in front of America

Pam Bondi utterly emasculated Sen. Adam Schiff during a heated clash at today’s confirmation hearing.

The confrontation came as Schiff questioned Bondi about potential investigations into former Special Counsel Jack Smith, who led federal probes against Trump. Bondi responded by emphasizing her commitment to facts over political motives, stating, "Senator, I haven't seen the file. I haven't seen the investigation, I haven't looked at anything. It would be irresponsible of me to make a commitment regarding anything without..."

Schiff, known for his Trump Derangement Syndrome, pressed further, asking if she would investigate Smith. Bondi fired back by questioning the premise of his inquiry, "Are you aware of a factual predicate to investigate Jack Smith, yes or no?"

"Senator, what I'm hearing on the news is horrible. Do I know if he committed a crime? I have not looked at it," she added, maintaining her position that she would not pursue investigations without cause.
