Hopefully you are all keeping safe and looking out for your neighbors. Right now, the Eaton Fire is 35% contained, but the danger is not over. If you haven’t yet, sign up for updates so you are up to date on all things wildfire. If you or your families have been impacted by these devastating fires, check out this resource guide with evacuation centers and food pantries, as well as a guide to where you can pick up necessary supplies like food, water, and clothing. Looking to get involved? Whether you or someone you know has lost their home or their belongings, check out this resource guide for donation and volunteer opportunities. Donate food and goods to these organizations to help make a real difference for those impacted by the wildfires. These are scary times. I’ve toured the site of the wildfire devastation in Altadena and Pasadena, and it is crushing to see so much destruction in my community. But, I’m hopeful that Californians will have each other’s backs as we rebuild.
