Today, January 15, the Unites States Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton, which involved a Texas law that protects minors from accessing pornography and explicit content online.

An adult entertainment non-profit sued, lost, and is now appealing  the case at the U.S Supreme Court.

The Texas Values team was present at the Supreme Court and participated in the Protect Kids Online Rally in front of the Supreme Court, along with national allies Family Policy Alliance and American Principles Project. Texas Values joined allies in a legal amicus brief to the U. S. Supreme Court supporting the Texas law.

“These pornographic websites…do want to sexualize our children, they do want our children to be hooked on this filth. When we wrote this legislation that’s going to be in front of the Supreme Court today…we knew extremists wanted to sexualize our children and were going to fight us in the courts…and we’re going to prevail.” ~ Texas State Representative Matt Shaheen
