Parkinson’s disease is one of the most widespread degenerative neurological conditions in the world. It robs over six million people around the world of their golden years, subjecting its victims and their families to the agonizing process of watching their loved ones slowly lose who they were. In the United States, more than 90,000 people will be diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease this year. It’s the fastest-growing brain disease in the world.

But there’s hope! The Michael J Fox Foundation has just teamed up with global healthcare company Grifols to launch a new initiative to create new diagnostic tools and start treating the disease before it fully manifests, thanks to the recent discovery of a biomarker for Parkinson's disease. If they succeed, we'll be able to detect Parkinson's pathology in living people even before symptoms show. We are now on an accelerated path to a cure, and we need your support!
