First: The Des Moines Register endorsed the Admiral, praising him as “the most qualified, experienced and ready to hit the ground running.”

Now: The Storm Lake Times has endorsed him as well:

“[Admiral] Franken is the perfect contrast to Trump and Ernst. He is studied. He is outraged by deceit. He understands the world. He is a scientist. He is brilliant. He knows his way around Washington and the world. He believes in the oath he swore to uphold and defend the Constitution.”
