Porkies Winter Sports Complex

After lots of snowfall, more than 2 feet in the last week, you're in for a treat. Nestled within Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, the Porkies Winter Sports Complex offers breathtaking Lake Superior views from the ski hill and a winter wonderland of trails.

Hit the slopes: Conquer fresh powder and all-natural snow, carve down 20 downhill runs, weave through the natural terrain park or explore glades nestled between runs. Open Friday through Monday (weather depending), 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.

Ski, trek and ride: Glide along groomed cross-country ski trails or trek through this winter wonderland on snowshoes or fat-tire bikes. Or, snowmobile along designated park roads throughout the snowmobile season. The trails are open all week.

All you need is a Recreation Passport to enter the park by vehicle and a lift ticket to ride the triple chairlift.
