The January 6th investigation report was released yesterday, and it told Americans something they should already know: Donald Trump tried to undermine our democracy and is responsible for an insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. 

He knew he lost, he knew what he was doing, and he refused to stop it. He used his personal social media to get his cult to flood Washington with the intent of breaking and entering, beating up police officers, and forcing elected officials to fear for their lives. He aimed to toss out the people’s choice using the only tactic he knows: hate-fueled chaos.

Just like with the porn star sentencing, this case should’ve gone the distance BEFORE he even had another shot at leading this country. Instead, Trump just did what he does best. He lied, stalled, and deflected. And it worked. Now he’s going to sit back, release the criminals who defiled our temple of democracy, and stick with the same narrative that a day where 174 police officers were injured and nine people were killed was a “day of love.” In simpler terms, the guilty party is not being held accountable.

Nobody should ever forget what happened on January 6th, 2021. We’re going to make sure that happens. Now that the official report has been released and the indisputable evidence is there, it’s up to us to broadcast it far and wide. We refuse to let Donald Trump and his MAGA cult members skate by. They all still have blood on their hands. That’s why we’re taking action. MAGA may be too scared to hold him accountable, but we sure aren’t.
