Join us for a luncheon and book signing on January 28, 2025 at the Pacific Club in Newport Beach, California featuring Christopher Cox as he discusses his new book, Woodrow Wilson: The Light Withdrawn. The book reassesses Wilson's life and his role in the movements for racial equality and women’s suffrage. The Wilson that emerges is a man superbly unsuited to the moment when he ascended to the presidency in 1912. This is a brilliant, carefully researched work that puts you at the center of one of the greatest advances in the history of American democracy.

The luncheon will feature a Q&A session led by Professor Charles Kesler, senior fellow of the Claremont Institute, editor of the Claremont Review of Books, and professor of government at Claremont McKenna College.
