John --

Elections are unpredictable at the moment due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and Americans in every state are looking for clarity in the voting process to avoid being forced to choose between their health and their right to vote.

Meanwhile, Trump and the GOP are working tirelessly to restrict voter access, in states like Michigan, believing this suppression will keep them in office. Trump has even threatened to withhold critical Covid-19 relief funds to states that implement vote by mail protocols.

Luckily, there are two brave Brand New Congress candidates in Michigan to stand up to the GOP and Trump’s bullying. Incumbent Representative Rashida Tlaib (MI-13) and candidate John Hoadley (MI-06) need our support now more than ever.

It is critical that we fight for candidates like John Hoadley and Rashida Tlaib in Michigan, so they can keep fighting for all of us. Can you contribute $5 today to help our candidates ready for their primaries ahead?

The Trump administration and some in the GOP are undermining elections across the country by attacking states that have opted to implement vote-by-mail. Despite the fact that they were put in place to avoid further outbreaks and safeguard the public. Hypocritically, President Trump votes by mail himself…

Michigan’s Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson made it clear: Trump’s claims that states are authorizing vote by mail “illegally” are false.

The majority of Congress has remained silent on this issue. We need a Congress that will safeguard our Constitutional right to vote, regardless of political party or expediency.

Michigan is a critical state for the 2020 elections, and BNC candidates Rashida Tlaib and John Hoadly will send a message that Americans are demanding progressive change.

In solidarity,

Zeynab Day
