Affordable, accessible, quality healthcare has been one of the most important issues facing VA-07 and the country for a long time.
The events of the past several weeks only make it even more urgent: we need high quality, affordable healthcare for everyone.
This is one of the many reasons Abigail was a cosponsor of the State Health Care Premium Reduction Act. By some estimates, this bill could cut premiums by about 40%.
And on top of fighting to reduce healthcare premiums, Abigail’s bill to increase drug pricing transparency, and thus reduce the cost of prescription drugs, passed the House 403-0.
