This webinar will provide an overview of NIJ’s Community-Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative (CVIPI) Research and Evaluation [ [link removed] ] funding opportunity, which seeks applications for rigorous research and evaluation projects that advance understanding of CVIPI in two categories:  

1.  Site-based evaluations of programs funded under OJP’s FY22, FY23, and FY24 CVIPI NOFOs.  

2.  Other community-violence evaluations and research areas, including: 


* A national survey of CVIPI programs. 

* The role(s) of women in community-based violence. 

* Research of small-capacity CVIPI programs.
