Hi John,
With just a month to go, this year's Global Justice Youth conference is shaping up to be the best yet.

Global crises like the climate emergency, rising authoritarianism, and vast inequality mean we need fundamental changes to our economic and social systems. Join us at We Rise this year as we come together to take action for a fairer and more just world.

The event brings together young people from across the UK who want to take action, tackle injustice, and organise for change. Throughout the day, we’ll dive into pressing global issues like the climate crisis, systemic racism, and neo-colonial exploitation. Expect discussions, practical workshops, and creative sessions to deepen your understanding and leave you inspired. Stick around for the evening, where we’ll have great food, music, and time to connect with others.

This is a Global Justice Youth event, please share this email with any under 30s who you think may be interested.

📅 When: From 12 noon, Saturday 15 February
📍 Where: Sussex University Students’ Union, Brighton

What to expect:
* Inspiring speakers, including Mitzi Jonelle Tan, Filipina climate activist, and Green MP Siân Berry (Brighton Pavilion).
* Workshops and talks on climate justice, Palestinian solidarity, and resisting systemic injustice.
* Creative sessions like block printing for your own protest signs or t-shirts.
* Panel discussions featuring Irene Vélez Torres, Colombia’s former energy minister, and Adam Hanieh, author of Crude Capitalism.
* An evening of music, conversation, and connection with like-minded activists.

Whether you’re new to activism or ready to take your engagement to the next level, We Rise is for everyone under 30 who wants to challenge the status quo and build a movement for global justice.

We’re committed to making this event accessible, with travel subsidies and overnight stays available for those coming from outside Brighton. Check out the ticket page for more details.
