January 2025
Heartfelt Thanks to our Donors
De Corazón, Muchas Gracias
Thank you to everyone who invested in Identity youth and families with year-end contributions and in-kind gifts. Together we will meet the moment to keep young people engaged in school, older youth engaged in work skills development and their parents equipped to help them. And like family, we will celebrate their victories and offer help when something extra is needed.

** Keeping Families Warm
------------------------------------------------------------
Donations of new and gently used coats poured in over the holidays for Identity families who need something extra to keep warm this winter. Board member Tal Widdes organized a coat drive through Adat Shalom Reconstructionist Congregation and her Women’s Torah Study Group, and Board member Sarah Whitesell organized coat drives at St. John's Norwood and St. Dunstan's Episcopal Churches. Thank you for these extra acts of kindness.
** Gracias Neighbors Rising
------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks toNeighbors Rising ([link removed]) for embracing older youth and their families, sharing pies and groceries to make this Thanksgiving a special one. It is all part of an effort to bring life changing support and services closer to where clients live and we are beyond grateful that Neighbors Rising is there with us.
** Kids Helping Kids
------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you to all of the young people who helped fellow students during the holidays. Pyle Middle Schoolers and youth and families from B'nai Israel Congregation again collected, packed and decorated more than 1,000 bags of snacks for students who are enrolled in Identity Out-of-School-Time programs.
** Thank you Kentlands!
------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you to the Kentlands Community Foundation and local runners for supporting Identity youth and families during their annual Kentlands/Lakelands 5K!
** Identity HQ Update
------------------------------------------------------------
We are nearing the day we can invite community members into our new home in Gaithersburg, currently being renovated, and to welcome all of you who brought us to this transformational moment.
Thank You Transformational Campaign Donors
