We have great news about America’s critically endangered red wolves!
There are fewer than 20 red wolves known to be living in the wild. One of the greatest threats to the population is vehicle strikes. Thanks to the dedication of SEEC PAC members, a $25 million grant has been awarded to construct wildlife crossings so red wolves can have safe passage! If projects like these are important to you, will you chip in to support our cause?
Since 1987, the effort to save America’s wild red wolves has centered on the population in North Carolina, where they live in swamp forests and marshes. Protecting them has been challenging: just a few years ago, there were only seven red wolves living in the wild.
Now, that number is rising again – and researchers and SEEC members alike are doing everything they can to ensure this population is safe and flourishing.
Thanks to your help in 2024, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 119th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future. But if you'd like to receive fewer emails, we understand. You can click here to only get our most important messages, or you can unsubscribe.
